Collective Bargaining Agreement: 12.6. “… All faculty are required to participate in-person during faculty development days and commencement regardless of their Location of Record. Unapproved absences will result in a reduction of the term of a faculty member’s contract by the number of days absent from work, and a salary reduction commensurate with the reduced contract term. Under exceptional circumstances, an absence may be approved by the Dean.”

Tools & Resources for a New Academic Year
Kanopy
Many films can be viewed for free through the streaming service Kanopy, accessible through the NMHU
Library databases website. Scroll down to “Kanopy.” Click that and you’ll be asked to login in using
your NMHU username and password. Then you’ll see a big red button that says “Log in to NMHU.” From
there, just search for the movie and watch!
Netflix. (2021). Educational Documentaries | Netflix
During the pandemic, Netflix put many of its documentaries on a variety of topic on YouTube. Many can
